Today, i started to clean off some of the backup files on several of my old hard drives... and out of surprise that I had indeed kept more than a few hundred GigaBytes of digital storages. I am poor in keeping records or traceability of such data and after all these years, I had all forgotten existence of such details.
The opening, reviewing and tidying indeed took me anothor few hours. I deleted more than 200 GigaBytes of digital wastes....Wow... I must be wasting a lot.
Digital storage is always so convenience and never to what I realize that I indeed stored more than what I actually needed. This is mis-use of technology inventions...
I turned to my store room and found a bag of CDs and DVDs. All of them stand up higher than the height of my 9-year old kid. They are movies, audios, MP3, games and backup...Huh another digital back up of data.
I need another weekend to clean all of such wastes that now invading my spare times....
We are wasting and disposing more in this digital age.
