Feng Shui and my life 风水与人生

A friend of mine, who is considered a Feng Shui fanatic has commented and provided some statistical data on his success of "prediction" and precise calculation on some of his friends' rags to richness. I remembered that he also has been following Lillian Too's classes and practises a few years back and should have been "graduated" some times ago.

Do I believe in Feng Shui? Well, it will be yes and no. No in the sense that I find the recent years of Feng Shui development has been too commercialized especially with introduction of various "gadgets" that some are easily can cost several tenth of thousands to hundred of thousands. I reject such believes that for a good Feng Shui, one has to be warshipping some large investment on such gadgets. To me, this is mis-use of Feng Shui and defeat the principles of Feng Shui. Feng Shui is to strike a harmony and balance between human and its environments. Once there is harmony and balance established, one's life will be magically "smooth"(顺风顺水). I even theorized that Feng Shui is the ergonomic to life but nothing more to this.
If one asked me to spend several hundred for a gadget to pave way for fortune, I would rather have a good dinner or gathering with my family. After all, my family will be my greatest wealth of all. I truly believed that there is fundamental in Feng Shui but has been widely mis-used as a form of fortune manipulation by most practionnels. I can pick it up as a form of hobby and study. To me, it is the talents and intelligience behind the origination of Feng Shui that interest me most. How ancient folks can start such formula is really magical to me.
风水的智慧并非如此...
